Who I Am

Jason “JR” Tyndale

Hi — I’m JR. The Lord rescued me, and I’ll never get over it — He’s my Creator. That mercy writes every teaching, every Rise & Shine note, and every word of encouragement that goes out from here. I’m not building a platform or starting a church. I’m pointing people to Jesus — open Scripture, name His name, help believers stand again.

I’ve played guitar for 40+ years, but I’m still learning to play for Him. Usually, you’ll find me working around the house alongside my lovely bride. I play in other bands too, mainly worship, and I’ve filled in for faith-based recovery churches and for friends when they need a guitar. Same strings. Same Savior. Same “come as you are.”

You don’t have to pretend you’re fine. Empty wells run dry; He doesn’t. God is not finished with you. Shackles can come off. Hope can return. The Word still does what it says. Come and see — He still cries out. He still satisfies.

Our Mission

Open the Word. Point to Jesus. Help believers stand.

JR Tyndale Ministries is a nondenominational teaching work. We believe the Word of God is complete truth. We exist to open Scripture, spread the love and hope found in a personal relationship with Christ, and equip saints to walk boldly in the authority already given through Jesus.

What We Believe

Jesus is Lord — and His Word still does what it says

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of the one true living God — the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — the same yesterday, today, and forever.
We believe He came to earth as Savior, Redeemer, and Healer: He became sin for us, freed us from sin, redeemed us from the curse, and cleanses all who come to Him.
We believe He rose from the dead, broke the enemy’s claim, and sits at the right hand of the Father until He returns for His body, the Church.
We believe that if you ask Jesus to be Lord and Savior of your life, you are saved and become part of the Kingdom of God.
We believe in the Holy Spirit — who regenerates, fills, guides, and empowers every believer — and that God’s Word spoken in faith is living and able.
We believe our God is a miracle-working God. Nothing is impossible for Him. He has given His people authority in Christ; when we resist the devil, he must flee. We believe when we lay hands on the sick in Jesus’ name, they will recover according to His Word and will.
We believe in the harvest of souls and the personal return of Jesus Christ for His Church.

Statement of Faith

What we hold as foundation

For those who want the fuller confession — Scripture, Trinity, Christ, Spirit, new birth, church, and hope — here is where we stand.

The Word of God. The Bible is God’s Word, inspired by the Holy Spirit, without error in the original manuscripts, and the final authority for faith and conduct.
The Trinity. There is one living and true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — equal in deity, distinct in person, united in creation, providence, and redemption.
God the Father. The Father is infinite Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He cares for each person, answers prayer, and saves from sin and death all who come through Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ. Jesus is God’s only begotten Son: virgin-born, sinless, crucified as our substitute, raised bodily, ascended, interceding for His people, and returning personally and visibly.
The Holy Spirit. The Spirit convicts the world, regenerates and sanctifies believers, indwells every follower of Jesus, and remains our Helper, Teacher, and Guide — distributing gifts for the building up of the church.
Salvation. All people are sinners by nature and by choice. Those who repent and trust Jesus as Savior are born again by the Spirit, forgiven, and made children of God.
The Church. Christ is Head of the universal church. Local gatherings of baptized believers worship, serve, and fellowship together, with the primary task of giving the gospel to a lost world.
Christian Conduct. Believers live for God’s glory — growing in maturity, welcoming neighbors with His love, building up the body of Christ, praying as a foundation of ministry, and serving the lost, the poor, widows, and orphans.
Ordinances. The Lord committed baptism of believers and the Lord’s Supper to the church, to be observed until He returns.
Last Things. We look for the personal return of Jesus, the resurrection of the body, final judgment, the eternal joy of the righteous, and the eternal separation of the wicked — and we labor for the harvest until He comes.

We meet in homes and in a church setting, building strong relationships and deep connections, just as the early church did. Together, we seek to grow in faith, support one another, and share God’s love with our communities.

We do not sell a better version of you. We point to a Savior who makes people new. If you are tired, stuck, or quietly wondering whether God still sees you — this ministry is for you.
