Abide in the Vine
JOHN 15:4 ESV
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine.
PSALM 23:1 NIV
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Hey friends and family, picture your heart as a branch, held close by Jesus, the vine. Life can feel like a dry season, but He’s there, whispering, “Stay with Me, I’ve got you.” His Gospel’s the lifeblood—He joined you to Him on the cross, not for what you do, but because He loves you (John 15:9 NLT). Ever feel His presence steady you, like a friend’s hand when you’re unsteady? That’s His closeness, yours to hold and share. “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them” (John 10:27 ESV). Like listening to a friend’s heartbeat, your trust in Him can invite others to faith. When did Jesus’ love feel close to you? Who needs His Gospel to know that bond?
Stay close to Jesus’ love with these three ways to soar:
Jesus, thank You for holding my heart close. Help me share Your Gospel. “You are my hiding place” (Psalm 32:7 NIV).
Tell us a story—when did Jesus’ love reach your heart? Tag someone who needs His closeness.
John 15:4, 9; Psalm 23:1; John 10:27; Psalm 32:7; Hebrews 13:8
