He Finishes What He Starts
Faith Compass
Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; do not forsake the works of Your hands.
Morning Light
A house in the middle of a build looks unfinished. Studs showing. Wires hanging. You do not call the builder a quitter because the drywall is not up yet. Paul said the same thing about you. He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion. God started this. He does not walk off the job.
That is not a push to grind harder. That is a reason to stay close. The Lord will perfect what concerns you. His mercy endures. He does not forsake the work of His hands. Seek His face today. Remain in the Vine. The joy of the Lord is your strength, and His strength is what keeps the work moving when you cannot see the finish.
Walk It Out
Thank Him for the work He already started in you.
Hand Him the part that still looks unfinished.
Take one step of trust and leave the completion with Him.
Quiet Place
Father, You began this good work, and I am trusting You to finish it. I am not the builder. You are. Perfect what concerns me. Do not forsake the work of Your hands. Keep me near Your face today. I receive Your mercy. I trust You. I am Yours.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
