Held in His Hand

“I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.” John 10:28 ESV “And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 ESV

Hey there, friends and family, pull up a chair. Jesus’ love is like a strong hand pulling you from a raging current, holding you tight. Life can leave you sinking—sin dragging you down, fear gripping your heart, or that lost feeling, like you’re adrift with no anchor. Maybe you’re out there, thinking your mistakes are too heavy, your past too messy to be held, scared you’ll slip through the cracks. That fear steals your rest, leaving you grasping for safety. But John 10:28 says Jesus gives eternal life, and no one can snatch you from His hand. God sent His only Son to die on the cross, taking your sins to offer salvation through repentance. “For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret” (2 Corinthians 7:10 ESV). Jesus isn’t just a lifeline—He’s the only way. “And there is salvation in no one else” (Acts 4:12 ESV). Surrender means turning from sin, saying, “Jesus, hold me,” and trusting His grip. Ever feel His grace steady you, like standing firm after a storm? That’s salvation, bringing rest and joy, no matter how lost you’ve been. If you’re drifting, surrender, repent and believe—He’s got you. When did His hold save you? Who needs His Gospel to find that rest?

Rest in Jesus’ salvation with these three ways to soar: 1. Think on His Grip: Reflect on a moment Jesus’ grace held you through fear or failure—journal what kept you from trusting Him fully then, and how His love anchors you now, letting John 10:28 sink deep.

2. Think on Your Fears: Picture a fear or sin you’re still holding— ask yourself, “Why am I afraid to let Jesus take this?” and write down one step to surrender it to Him today. 3. Do for Others: Share a kind word or act with someone lost in fear, telling them why Jesus’ hold gives you hope, pointing them to His forgiveness.

Jesus, thank You for dying to hold me in salvation’s rest and joy. Forgive my sins, help me repent, and share Your Gospel with the lost. “You are my light and my salvation” (Psalm 27:1 ESV).
