Loved While We Were Sinners
JOHN 3:16 NIV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
ROMANS 5:8 NIV
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Hey friends and family, picture your heart as a cross, carved with God’s love for you. Life can weigh you down with guilt or shame, but Jesus took it all, dying on that cross to set you free. His Gospel’s the gift—God gave His only Son, not because you earned it, but because He loves you (1 John 4:10 ESV). Ever feel that love hit you, like a quiet moment when you realize you’re forgiven? That’s why He died, to bring you home. “He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross” (1 Peter 2:24 NIV). Like holding out a hand to someone lost, your faith in His sacrifice can lead others to Him. When did God’s love through the cross touch you? Who needs His Gospel to know that freedom?
Embrace God’s gift of His Son with these three ways to soar:
Jesus, thank You for dying on the cross for me. Help me share Your Gospel. “Your love is better than life” (Psalm 63:3 NLT).
Tell us a story—when did God’s love through the cross reach your heart? Tag someone who needs His freedom.
