Saved, Not Condemned
Faith Compass
“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.” John 3:17 ESV “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.” Acts 3:19 NIV
Morning Light
Hey friends and family, Jesus’ love is like a wide-open window, letting light into a room heavy with shadows. Life can bury you in guilt—sins you can’t shake, choices that haunt you, or that lost feeling, like you’re wandering with no way home. Maybe you’re out there, thinking you’re too broken, too far gone for forgiveness, scared of judgment. That weight steals your rest, leaving you stuck, longing for peace. But John 3:17 says Jesus didn’t come to condemn you—He came to save you. God sent His only Son to die on the cross, taking your sins, your shame, and offering a gift: salvation through repentance. “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28 NLT). Repentance isn’t shame—it’s turning to Jesus, saying, “I need You,” and finding His forgiveness wash you clean. Ever feel His grace lift you, like fresh air filling your lungs? That’s His love, calling everyone—especially the lost—into a relationship where joy replaces
guilt. When did Jesus’ forgiveness set you free? Who needs His Gospel to find that rest?
Walk It Out
Rest in Jesus’ salvation with these three ways to soar:
1. Think on His Mercy: Reflect on a time Jesus’ forgiveness lifted your guilt—write it down to let John 3:17 sink deep.
2. Do in His Word: Read Acts 3:19 and pray, confessing your sins and asking Jesus to fill you with His joy.
3. Do for Others: Share a kind word or act with someone lost in shame, pointing them to His forgiveness.
Quiet Place
Jesus, thank You for dying to save me, not condemn me. Forgive my sins, help me repent, and share Your Gospel with the lost. “You are my salvation” (Psalm 35:3 NLT).
